A writer’s care.
An engineer’s curiosity.

I’m Arianna Laudazzi, a principal technical writer and content engineer based in Switzerland. I help teams make complex technology easier to understand and use.

Documentation as part of the product

My work combines technical writing, information architecture, developer education, and content strategy. I’ve documented software, developer tools, and industrial products for Elastic, Google, IBM, Alstom, and General Electric.

I work with engineering, product, and design teams to understand the technology and its users. That work can lead to a tutorial, a new documentation structure, a usability study, or guidance that helps engineers write more effectively.

Technical scope and tools

I work with docs-as-code frameworks, Git-based workflows, and Markdown. My documentation experience includes observability, Kibana, Elastic Cloud on Kubernetes, developer libraries, and internal Google services.

I also use Claude and Cursor to support authoring and editing. I review the results for technical accuracy, structure, and usefulness to the reader.

Teaching and collaboration

Beyond the documentation itself, I have developed Kubernetes and Elastic Cloud on Kubernetes (ECK) onboarding for technical writers, delivered technical writing guidance to Google’s Geo SRE team, and helped coordinate accessible-content guidelines at Elastic.
